A group of private Silver City citizens, calling themselves the Silver Pool Study Group, is inviting the public to complete a survey to determine public opinion regarding the features, activity offerings and season which would be desirable for the Town of Silver City municipal pool.

The survey is available in hard copy at Gila Hike & Bike, Morningstar, Javalina and Yankie Creek Coffee and the computer file to produce a hard copy can be obtained by emailing tim1937@gmail.com. Those preferring to complete the survey on line may also email to receive a link to the survey site, which is provided courtesy of the Grant County Community Health Council.

Tim Matthes, a spokesman for the group, said they wish to emphasize that this survey is not sponsored by or affiliated in any way with the Town of Silver City, although the results may be shared with the town.

Matthes added that the group is not just looking for positive feedback, but wants to get a true picture of public sentiment regarding the pool, so welcomes negative input as well.
