Just think of the fun of learning about other cultures straight from the people that come from different places in the world. Now imagine being able to do that without ever traveling to those places.

ASSE – International Student Exchange Program is currently seeking host families for boys and girls from all over the world. ASSE is a nonprofit public benefit organization founded by the Swedish Ministry of Education. The students are 15-18 years of age currently waiting to come to the United States for either a semester of school or the full academic year.

These kids all speak English and are excited to learning about our country by living with and being part of a host family. At the same time they want to share their culture and language with you. These students are well screened, fully insured, and have their own spending money. They will expect to be included in family activities including household responsibilities.

Once a family has been fully vetted they will be able to choose students from their applications. The applications include family photos, biographies, and transcripts. ASSE strives to place students with families of similar interests.
