Essentials of Execution—Project Management Level I is a Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC) developed, 8-hour didactic training offered to internal caregivers to support the increasing demand for executing successful improvement projects.

Effective project management is rapidly becoming a necessary core proficiency across all industries, but even more so in healthcare to adapt to our rapidly changing environment. GRMC is supporting and enabling this competency by educating caregivers on the proper Mind Set, Skill Set, and Tool Set necessary to be successful in all three stages of a project—the beginning, middle and end—and providing the "how to" of getting things done.

Together, caregivers will be able to work collaboratively and efficiently to fully understand, develop and implement processes that will help GRMC into becoming the best rural healthcare facility in the country.

Ana Lewis (IT Support Specialist), Liana Ryan (Operations Specialist) and Robert Candelaria (Systems Administrator II) utilized the evidence-based, GRMC project management approach to get things done, and we congratulate and thank them!
