Guadalupe Montessori School (GMS) will present the Festival of Trees at 614 North Bullard Street from November 28 to December 6, 2014. The festival event space has been generously sponsored by the Silver City Food Co-op, and Festival of Trees volunteers have the opportunity to get Silver City Food Co-op volunteer hour credit for supporting the event.

Volunteer jobs include set-up and clean-up of the pop-up gift store and events throughout the week, and helping with fun family activities during the Lighted Christmas Parade and Sugar Plum Saturday.

The Festival of Trees has a long history in Silver City. It was previously put on by the local Mormon church and by Penny Park, and was revived at GMS last year as a family-friendly holiday event and fundraiser.

Guadalupe Montessori School has served the community for over thirty years with high quality Montessori early childhood and elementary education. We are currently accepting students for our waiting list for the 2015-16 school year, and will be running a Summer Enrichment Program in 2015 for children aged 18 months through 12 years.
