The Rotary Club of Silver City is seeking scholarship applications from high school seniors in Grant County. The annual Rotary College Scholarship Awards are based primarily on academic / scholarly achievements. Scholarships are not awarded solely on the basis of financial need; however, they should enhance the student's ability to attend college. Awards will be determined on the basis of the following criteria: Academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community involvement, recommendation letters from the student's counselor and from the community, and a student essay.

To apply for a Rotary college scholarship, visit the Rotary Club web site at www.silvercityrotary.org and click on the link on the home page for the scholarship application and instructions. Applications should be submitted online if at all possible, pursuant to the instructions on the web site.

All scholarship applications and supporting documents must be submitted by March 15, 2015.
