QUEMADO, N.M.; April 30, 2015 - The Juniper and Pinon Campgrounds at Quemado Lake on the Gila National Forest will open for the summer season Friday, May 1. Camp hosts are in place and the potable water and dumping station will also be available. The El Caso #2 camping area will remain closed to the public until May 18, 2015. Employees held their annual clean-up day at Quemado Lake last week in preparation for the opening. The campgrounds will remain open until September 30.
