The Silver City Museum celebrates Kids' Day at the Museum on Friday, June 19, from 9 am to 12 pm at 312 W Broadway in the courtyard of the Silver City Museum. This event will feature crafts, games, activities, and fun for kids of all ages. The Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest and the Imagination Library of Grant County will also host activities at the event.

At Kids' Day, fun is had by all! Bubbles, books, storytelling, clay crafts, taffy making, and clothespin dolls are just a few of the offerings that await you. For teachers and parents, information will be available on the museum's programs for school groups and families. All are invited to this free event, open to the public.

While at the museum, check out the new exhibit "Open Drawers, Fashion Plates, and Late Night Dates: High Fashion from the Wheaton-Smith Collection", a study in fashion and society at the turn of the century, as viewed through the lens of one family's extraordinary wardrobe.

These programs are made possible through the generous support of the Silver City Museum Society.

The Silver City Museum creates opportunities for residents and visitors to explore, understand, and celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of southwestern New Mexico by collecting, preserving, researching, and interpreting the region's unique history.
