Monday, July 6

Welfare check
Pearl Street
Caller advised that a named male keeps stating that he is going to kill everybody and himself. Advised that the male is stealing money from his parents. Advised that the male is on prescription drugs but they are not his pills. Officer advised to send ambulance for a 27-year-old male who is suicidal.

Tuesday, July 7

Assault
North Street
Caller advised that the neighbor across the street threw a bottle at him and hit him in the head. Officer advised that one was in investigative detention at Grant and Cactus streets

Wednesday, July 8

Criminal trespass warning
Tom Foy Blvd.
Caller advised that a male who has a CTW is on the property. Officer advised no CTW in CAD.

Fight
Bayard Low Income Apartments
Caller advised that a male is being jumped by other males. Second caller advised that the jumpee is drunk. Officer advised that it is a 20-year-old male/bleeding from left eye/cannot see too well.

Game and Fish
N. Canyon Street
Caller advised that a mountain lion is in the yard and his neighbor has his gun out. Officer called county to assist, and G&F dispatch, who advised they will try to get someone en route. Officer advised negative contact/clear.

Welfare check
Runnels Drive
Caller advised that her 18-year-old daughter is harassing caller’s 13-year-old daughter and causing problems. Advised that her older daughter is schizo and has not been taking her medications. Officer advised that everything is OK – the 18-year-old is across the street at her aunt’s house.

Weapons fired
Peru Street
Caller advised that seven pistol or rifle shots and then two shotgun shots were heard. Officer advised that there have been no fireworks since another officer’s traffic stop – they must have stopped for the night.

Caller advised that his roommate is up all night scratching on the walls and not letting him sleep. Officer advised both units clear/parties were separated.

Fort Bayard Road
Caller advised that an elderly female is walking toward FBMC who appears to be confused. Officer advised that he found the female back at the Beehive and she is OK.

Domestic disturbance
N. Mineral Street
Caller advised that her boyfriend was acting crazy with her then left. Second caller advised that a female was banging on her front door.

Hurley Police Department

Welfare check
Cortez Avenue – 4:15 a.m.
Caller advised in a whisper “Help.” When dispatch asked what was wrong, caller advised, ”I can’t explain.” Caller was a 13-year-old male. Caller called because his parents are fighting. Caller disconnected. Officer advised that units are okay.

Cortez Avenue – 7 a.m.
Caller from Grant County Sheriff’s Department advised that when a Hurley officer comes on duty have them go to the Cortez Avenue location for a wellcheck.

Caller advised that his 10-year-old grandson is throwing stuff at them. Officer advised that they were taking one to the hospital.

Caller advised that her husband is threatening to shoot them and tried throwing a crowbar at their son. Officer advised that a gun is in the home but he never got it/units clear.

Caller advised that a VW van was taken by an unknown male either yesterday or today.
