We have a new location, expanded hours, and MORE TAMALES this year!

Bring the whole family to enjoy great food, arts & crafts, jewelry, face painting, live music, folklorico dance, heritage workshops, and traditional games! Heritage workshops begin at 9am at the Market Café, 614 N. Bullard. The mariachi procession begins at the Visitor Center at 10am and continues north on Bullard Street to the main Fiesta site. Vendors will be open from 10am-4pm at the main Fiesta site in the "Art Market" area on the west side of Bullard at 8th Street.

Buy Local! Purchase your Christmas tamales and holiday gifts here! Previous prize-winning tamal vendors are back, along with many new entrants. Mouth-watering selections include traditional red-chile pork tamales, green-chile-chicken, Puerto Rican style, vegetarian, and more. Bring your appetite, because there will also be biscochos, posole, fresh tortillas, menudo, burritos, empanadas, green chile stew, pan dulce, champurrado, capirotada, and other holiday delicacies.

  • 9:00-10:00am - Culture in the Kitchen: Tamal-Making Workshop, with Consuelo Hester (at the Market Café, 614 N. Bullard)
  • 10:00am-4:00pm - Food, arts & crafts, and more (at the main Fiesta site, Bullard at 8th)
  • 10:00-11:30am - Mariachi Diamantes opens the Fiesta! Procession begins at the Silver City Visitor Center (nw corner of Hudson at Broadway) and continues north on Bullard Street through Historic Downtown, arriving at the main Fiesta site to kick off the festivities.
  • 11:00-11:45am - Folklorico Dancers (at the main Fiesta site, Bullard at 8th)
  • noon-12:30pm - WNMU's Mariachi Plata (at the main Fiesta site, Bullard at 8th)
  • 12:45-1:30 - History of Mariachi Workshop, with WNMU Mariachi Plata (at the Market Café, 614 N. Bullard)
  • 1:00-2:30pm - Angelica Padilla with Geli & the Heartbreakers (at the main Fiesta site, Bullard at 8th)
  • 2:00-3:00pm - Piñata-Making Workshop for kids of all ages, with WNMU Art Club (at the Market Café, 614 N. Bullard)
  • 2:30-4:00pm - vocalist Jessica Juarez (at the main Fiesta site, Bullard at 8th)
