Attached is a map of the Forest Service's planned upgrade of the Little Walnut Road Continental Divide Trail trailhead.  The Forest Service would appreciate any comments folks might have about that design.  It's not clear from this design, but Christa has said on previous occasions that horse trailers would be accommodated; perhaps they intend for horse people to park along that long loop around to the south.  Anyway, you can share any comments with Amy Hartell at ahartell@fs.fed.us or Brian Martinez at brianmartinez@fs.fed.us .

Doug Dexter of the Back Country Horsemen would like to hear from trail users about where the group's members should concentrate their trail maintenance work over the coming months.  If you know about problems on favorite trails (e.g., downed trees, overgrown or washed out tread, etc.), that the BCH group might be able to fix up, please give Doug a shout at dexterdoug@hotmail.com .
