On Wed., Feb. 17 at 7 p.m., Naomi Klein's best-selling and cutting-edge documentary, This Changes Everything will be shown at the Unitarian Universalist building at 3845 N Swan St., Silver City. The film is based on her 2015 best-selling book by the same name, and the screening is free and open to the public. Klein is the author of Shock Doctrine and No Logo. The film makes the connection between unfettered capitalism and climate change and how we, the people of the world, can turn this into an opportunity to create a new course for humanity as inhabitants of the planet.

The Silco Theater will soon be opening and the proprietor, Chris Aquino, plans to show the documentary again in March.
