Come get to know the most dynamic public school in Grant County!

1422 E. Highway 180 (next to the Grant County Administration building)

Attending the Internship Showcase is a great way to learn about this award-winning school and about the educational programs that keep students engaged and learning. Thirty-seven students have worked on one of six Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) crews: Archaeology, Eco Monitoring, Murals, Watershed Keepers, ALCS Garden, and Trails. The remaining students have been learning various skills by working with mentors in careers such as information technology, lab assistant, pre-school education, county government, construction, veterinarian, and native plants. All interns will give presentations about their internship or YCC experience.

One of the most common misconceptions about ALCS is that you have to pay to attend. ALCS is a public school with grades 6 through 12, and it is open to all residents of New Mexico. The next lottery deadline for the Fall 2016 semester, is May 5 at 4:00 pm. Applications are available in the school lobby. For more information, please call the school at 575-538-2547.
