In coordination with the 30th Addition of the Tour of Gila, the Kiwanis Club of Silver City and the The Rotary Club of Silver City are presenting The 7th Annual Kids Bicycle Safety Rodeo on Saturday, May 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

This free event will be located in Downtown Silver City at the corner of College Avenue and Bullard Street.

Kids are requested to bring their own bikes and helmets to ride the monitored safety course.

There will be free helmets while they last courtesy of the Rotary Club. Free bike safety inspections and minor repairs will be provided by The Bike Works, along with a Kiwanis Fun Art Table for Kids only.

All participating kids will be entered into a drawing for a free bike donated by the Bike Works, winners announced at 11:30 a.m.

Kids on trikes and training wheels are welcome!

This event is held in cooperation with the Silver City Police Department and the Sheriff's Department of Grant County.
