Tiffany's Angels - Their Commission, Disappearance, and Rediscovery

Stunning images of Louis Comfort Tiffany's larger-than-life stained glass windows of the seven angels from the Book of Revelation, their intriguing history, the art of the glass, and the spiritual meaning and inspiration for Tiffany's commission and craftsmanship.

This presentation, both educational and inspirational, will include a lecture by Rev. Carla A. Friedrich, projected imagery, meditation with music, and poetry recitation by Stewart S. Warren.

The Tiffany-designed windows were commissioned as a gift in 1903 to the Church of the New Jerusalem in Cincinnati, Ohio from a sister congregation. When the city of Cincinnati demolished the church by imminent domain in 1964 for the construction of Interstate 71, the windows were rescued by members, packed and crated in excelsior-lined wooden boxes, and hidden away, essentially G
