On Saturday, May 21, elementary age children come down to the museum and make a name plate for your door. We will be using macaroni, straws, yarn, and other decorations to construct the name plates.

We are also going to make clothespin magnets. Kids can put them on any metal surface to show off work they have done or to post important messages for other family members.

Give us a call at 538-5921 and come on down to the Silver City Museum, 312 W. Broadway on Saturday, April 23, from 10:30 to noon. See you here.

The Silver City Museum creates opportunities for residents and visitors to explore, understand, and celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of southwestern New Mexico by collecting, preserving, researching, and interpreting the region's unique history. For more information, please contact the museum at (575) 538-5921, education@silvercitymuseum.org, or go to the museum's website www.silvercitymuseum.org.
