Last month, Russ VanDusen and his wife Jean entertained children (of all ages) at the Silver City Museum with his books "What Makes a Rainbow?" and "How Crocka Dog Came To Be." They have just learned that Crocka Dog and another of his books, "What Makes a Snowflake?" have earned more awards, including Crocka Dog for both Best Children's Book Fiction award by the National Federation of Press Women Awards and Best Children's Picture Book award by the Southwest Book Design and Production.
