SILVER CITY - As candidates race to engage voters in the final weeks leading up to the elections, a new partnership promises to galvanize one of the most coveted and influential voting blocs of this election cycle ' Latino and immigrant millennials. As part of the "People's Party Tour," east Los Angeles band Las Cafeteras and PICO National Network project, LA RED, are collaborating to mobilize Latino youth to the polls and inspire change through music, testimonials and a robust digital campaign.

The tour, launched out of California, will be arriving in Silver City on Wednesday to continue to engage Latino and immigrant voters to get involved in their communities and vote in November. Las Cafeteras will be performing their signatures songs as LA RED advocates register voters and feature the testimonials of New Mexico immigrant residents.
