The Silver City Public Library is currently hosting two displays of artwork in two very different types of media.

The upper display case holds still images from animated films by Ralph Bakshi. Bakshi is an animator, director, and producer known for his unique, independent animated films including Fritz the Cat, Wizards, and The Lord of the Rings. Read more about Ralph Bakshi at ralphbakshi.com.

The lower display case features gourd art by Pierre Nichols, inspired by the designs of pieces excavated at Paquim+
