The Rotary Club of Silver City will be holding its second Murder Mystery Dinner/Fundraiser on Friday, January 6, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. It will be held in the Student Cafeteria on the second floor of the WNMU Student Memorial Building.

Members of the Grant County Community are invited to participate in this entertaining event. Admission will cover a three-course dinner, and there will be a cash bar. The event will benefit the Silver City Rotary Foundation's Scholarship Fund and the Silver City Community Theater. There will also be a dessert auction, with desserts provided by members of the Rotary Club.

Members of the Silver City Community Theater will perform the Mafia Murders murder mystery, and attendees will be challenged to identify the villain of the piece. Mafia Murders is set in the roaring twenties, so participants are invited (but certainly not required) to come in attire appropriate to that period. For an idea about 1920s fashions, go to the Rotary Club website (www.silvercityrotary.org) and click the link provided in the Murder Mystery announcement.

Tickets to the event are $50 each, half of which will cover the cost of the dinner with the other half counting as a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Tickets may be obtained at Morones & Knuttinen on Bullard Street in Silver City or from any member of the Silver City Rotary Club. Checks should be made out to the Silver City Rotary Foundation. (The Silver City Rotary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation.)
