The Silver City Museum will be closed to the public the first three weeks of January 2017. During this time, the downstairs wood floors will be sanded and refinished. Preparations will be made for a new education and activity space, and a reconfigured Silver City Museum Store.

Due to the planned work schedule, December 31, 2016 will be the last day to see the exhibition Arte Chicano de San Vicente: Reflections of the Chicano Community in Silver City.

Please watch for a special grand re-opening announcement. 2017 will be the Silver City Museum's 50th Anniversary. Please plan to celebrate this milestone with us!
