From Noon to 5pm, stop on by the Silver City Museum for Chocolate Fantasia - Wild West Days 2017. Chocolate confections will be offered in the kitchen of the Silver City Museum, made by chocolatiers from our wonderful Silver City Museum Society. Bring the whole family for this fun day out and explore downtown Silver City while enjoying sugary confectionery.

Chocolate Fantasia is a fundraising event that benefits the Mimbres Region Arts Council (MRAC). Tasting tickets are $25 for 20 samples of different chocolates, available through the MRAC website. The day of the event, Chocolate Fantasia Headquarters will be at Family Karate Center, 416 N. Bullard St.

Proceeds from Chocolate Fantasia will be used by MRAC to fund youth outreach programs such as the Youth Mural Program and Arte Para Todos. MRAC provides these programs free of charge to children. Purchases at Chocolate Fantasia will help ensure they can continue to reach the children of the Mimbres region.

The Silver City Museum creates opportunities for residents and visitors to explore, understand, and celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of southwestern New Mexico by collecting, preserving, researching, and interpreting the region's unique history.
