Join us in our Education Room on Saturday, April 15, from 10:30 am to 12 pm as we make miniature Easter dioramas using plastic Easter eggs large and small, ribbons, flowers, and pictures to create a pocket-size diorama to celebrate Spring.

For many years, the idea of making little Easter scenes has been a sort of tradition since the Victorian Era. Miniature Eggs depicting springtime scenes of lambs, rabbits, flowers, and the like were created to adorn a home to welcome the change of seasons.

On Thursday, April 13 from 4 pm to 6 pm, the Public Library of Silver City will have a special all ages WildWorks program. They will have many special egg dyeing kits to make special Easter Eggs. Participants are invited to bring their own hard-boiled eggs. In addition to Easter Eggs we will also have our usual WildWorks robotics available for ages 10 and up. For any questions about the WildWorks program, please contact Chris at 575-538-3672 or ref@silvercitymail.com.
