The Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs of Silver City are sponsoring the 8th Annual Kids Bicycle Safety Rodeo on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon, located in Downtown Silver City at the corner of College Avenue and Bullard Street. This a free event held in cooperation with the BikeWorks and the Silver City Police Department.

Kids should bring their own bikes and ride the monitored safety course with a Silver City Bicycle Patrol Officer They can also be fitted with a free helmet while supplies last, and receive free bike safety inspections and minor repairs from the staff of the BikeWorks. There will also be a kids fun arts & crafts table.

This year, participating kids that complete the safety program are eligible for a drawing to win a free bicycle donated by Carson Insurance Agency. For more information, call Lori at 575-574-2543.
