The Silver City Public Library is hosting two sessions with the Zoo To You outreach program on July 12, one at 10:30am and another at 2:00pm. Docents from the Albuquerque BioPark will bring animal ambassadors for a special presentation on wildlife conservation. There may be a limit on the number of people attending each session for safety reasons. If there is a limit, free tickets will be distributed starting 30 minutes before the beginning of each session.

Summer Reading Program activities for all ages are scheduled through July 21. Registration to track reading and redeem prizes is open; family members of all ages can register through the duration of the program. Those interested in signing up can do so by visiting the library front desk, bringing their library card if they have one. There are summer reading activities and prize drawings for adults, too. The last day to submit entries for prizes will be July 21.

The library is located at 515 W. College Avenue in Silver City and is open Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. For more information visit silvercitypubliclibrary.org or contact the library at 575-538-3672 or ref@silvercitymail.com.
