Learning Circle: Best Practices for Building Nonprofit Leaders

The Nonprofit Resource Group (NRG) will be offering a no cost training, available in person or by teleconference, on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at College Street Plaza in Suite #5, 301 W. College Ave. This Learning Circle is an opportunity for nonprofit board members, coordinators and executive directors to share the practices their nonprofit has implemented to develop and transform leadership and plan for succession. To lead effectively and propel a nonprofit’s mission forward, today’s leader needs to be more than just “the boss.” Research shows that today’s leader must have a comprehensive set of financial, operational and executive skills. How do frontier and rural nonprofit leaders develop or gain these skills? Thanks to the generosity of the McCune Charitable Foundation southwest New Mexico nonprofits can have this conversation.
