On Saturday, October 7, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM you can create your own stained "glass" sun catcher or stained "glass" window creation from tissue paper, wax paper, and construction paper.

Using various papers, participants can either follow traditional stained glass patterns or free-hand their own vision. The stained glass effect will be created by sandwiching colorful tissue between two pieces of wax paper and a construction paper frame. Assistants will be present to help any participant with sealing their projects. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have their own unique stained glass creation to hang in their windows.

This hands-on activity is open to children of all ages and is free, though a $5 donation is suggested to support museum activities. Weather permitting, this hands – on activity may be outdoors in the Silver City Museum Courtyard; please dress accordingly.
