The Silver City Public Library would like to inform the community that access to their College Avenue (handicapped) entrance will be closed temporarily during the rebuilding of the access ramp to that door. Construction is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, December 20. Please use the Cooper Street entrance—which is the main front door--during construction. There is a lift to the lower level as an alternative to the stairs. Library staff will assist with using the lift.

"The ramp to the College Avenue entrance will be re-constructed for improved accessibility and safety," explained Lillian Galloway, library public services manager. "Our goal is to make the library easy to use for everyone."
