CREATIVE WRITING GROUP
The Southwest Festival of the Written Word and WNMU are happy to offer
a Creative Writing Group on the second and fourth Tuesdays of September,
October, and November, 2018.

Dates: September 25; October 9, 23; November 13, 27.
Time: 6:00–8:30 p.m.
Venue: Kennedy Puentes Room, Miller Library, WNMU.
Genre: creative writing including short stories, poetry, novel extracts,
narrative non-fiction, hybrid.
Cost: free.
Credits: none.
Bring: 8–12 copies of your work.
No commitment required to attend all sessions. No sign-up required.

The process will be as follows: pass around (8–12) copies of your work,
read for 5–7 minutes maximum, followed by open critique.

This group is facilitated by JJ Amaworo Wilson, writer-in-residence at WNMU.
Amaworo Wilson has published over twenty books in a variety of genres,
most recently the multi-award-winning novel Damnificados. He has
delivered workshops and lectures on fiction and education in 30 countries.
