Bayard Police Department

Monday, Sept.17

Aggravated assault
Virginia Street
10-year-old neighbor pulled a gun out on her son when he was walking home from the bus stop earlier. Officer advised pending call until clear from prisoner in custody/called caller to let her know.

Criminal trespass warning
400 Tom Foy Blvd.
A named individual is in the store with a CTW.

Domestic disturbance
Fahey Street – 6:30 p.m.
Advised a named female and a named male are fighting in the street and kids are with them/male wants to take the kids, who are 1-year-old and 5-months old, and the female will not allow it/female is yelling/there is pushing and shoving.

Caller advised BPD was at her residence and they allowed her son to stay with her for the night, however, her son is now causing problems with her again. Advised her son is very upset and banging the car seat in the wall and floor. Officer had contact advising caller is going to let him stay the night still and if any other problems arise that she will call for officers again/units will be clear.

A female screaming/a possible fight.

Caller advised there was an altercation at CYFD office today and a named female advised that a named individual took the keys to her vehicle and busted out the window to her vehicle. Caller wants to make sure she is okay. Officer had negative contact with anyone at the door.

Harassment
Virginia Street
Caller advised that her son is being threatened by her neighbor’s son/he was threatened at school today by the neighbor’s son/he is threatening to kill her son. Officers out at a Virginia Street address/clear/back out at another Virginia Street address.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

Larceny
N. Railroad Street – 11:05 a.m.
Stolen license plate/unknown where it was stolen. Officer advised caller is going to have to handle it at Silver City PD.

Domestic disturbance
N. Canyon Street
Caller advised it is between his daughter and her boyfriend/he is walking off with her laptop at this time. Officer advised it is all verbal.

Domestic disturbance
N. Railroad Avenue – 9:30 p.m.
Officer advised everything is okay/the parties are going to be separated for the night.

Thursday, Sept. 20

Domestic disturbance
Lusk Street
Elderly female out of breath kept advising not to say she called/advising her grandson is yelling at her/elderly female could hardly speak/advising ‘thank you’ and disconnected the line. Officer out with a named individual/85-year-old female requested ambulance/having a hard time breathing.

DV order violation
Maple Street
Caller advised he has a restraining order against a named female and she just showed up at this house and hit him in the body.

Monday, Sept. 17

Reckless driver
Diaz Avenue and C Street
Caller called back and advised the driver is now at another address and he also hit the propane tank with his vehicle and now is slumped over the steering wheel. Officer had contact advising the male advised he’s okay, ‘enjoying the scene.’

Thursday, Sept. 20

Stolen motor vehicle
Aztec Avenue
Caller advised her ex-boyfriend stole her vehicle and hid it from her. Advised the ex is back at her residence with his brother in a silver Ford van. Advised more of his friends are showing up now.

Domestic disturbance
Romero Avenue
Caller advised he lives with his grandmother and his mother went over and is causing problems and destroying things in the home. Advised he is on probation and doesn’t want to get in trouble. It has not gotten physical. Dispatch can hear yelling in the background. Caller advised his mother has been drinking and he is staying away from her.

Male wearing all black started unzipping his pants/he is a high school student. Officer had negative contact.

Intoxicated persons
Santa Clara
Caller believes her husband is driving while drunk. SCPD officer went traffic with vehicle and conducted a field sobriety test. XCPD officer was advised of all info from SCPD stop.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

Welfare check
N. Bayard Street
Caller from BHU advised she received four calls from a male who sounds intoxicated advising he
does not feel good. Officer had contact advising male advised he is okay and does not want any medical attention/units will be clear.

Suspicious vehicle
Bataan Park
Out of Canada. Officer had contact advising the driver and passenger advised the vehicle died and they will be spending the night and get it fixed in the morning.
