The Grant County Association of Educational Retirees will offer a scholarship of five hundred dollars to a high school senior again this year. The scholarship is given in memory of Dale “Scooter” Smith to students who will enter colleges and universities as freshmen in the 2019 school year.

Students who wish to apply may obtain applications from their High School Counselors. The deadline for submitting completed applications is April 15. The application with a high school transcript should be delivered to GCAER Scholarship Committee, 713 W.7th. Street, Silver City 88061.
