This Saturday, November 10, from 7-11pm, professional dealers will be in the private Governor’s Room at Billy’s BBQ in Silver City for a doggone good reason: It’s Casino Night for Canines, a unique fundraiser for Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit Charity located in Arenas Valley.

Attendees who donate $25.00 at the door will receive $100.00 in playing chips, a raffle ticket for a chance to win several prizes and as part of the fun, can enjoy complimentary appetizers. A cash bar and full dinner menu will be available as well. There will be a raffle and live auction at 10:00pm and Silent Auction winners will be announced at 10:30 pm.  Come on out to Billy’s on Saturday night and try your hand at the Blackjack or Texas Hold'em tables, or play Roulette or Craps at the other tables. Who knows when there will be such a “paw”fectly fun reason to gamble for a good cause!

Attendees must be 21 or older.  For more information, call Laurie West at Puppy Dog Ranch, (575) 313-7232.

Puppy Dog Ranch is a No-Kill, No-Cage private Dog Rescue and Sanctuary and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity which does not receive funding but relies on donations to operate and care for homeless dogs. Puppy Dog Ranch rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes the unwanted, abandoned, neglected, abused dogs and dogs living in "Kill Shelters".  Since the private Rescue began in August, 2009, they have rescued more than 150 dogs, placed 90 dogs into 'furever' homes; proudly maintain a 99% adoption success rate by qualifying adopters and matching dogs with potential adopters.  PDR currently has 20 dogs and puppies available for adoption (all socialized, spayed/neutered, current on shots, socialized and leash trained); and they care for an average of 30+ dogs every day on their Ranch, including 13 permanent furry residents.

Puppy Dog Ranch is open by appointment Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, at 27 Twin Sisters Creek Road, Arenas Valley, NM 88022.  To learn more about PDR and their dogs available for adoption, visit their website at www.puppydogranch.org.
