Gila Artisan Winterfest will be held November 24 and 25, 2012 in Gila, NM
 
The ninth annual Gila Artisan Winterfest will be held Saturday, November 24 from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday, November 25 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Old Tavern on Highway 180 in Cliff, NM. “This fun-filled artisan show, is a much anticipated event in Gila and Cliff. People come from all over southern New Mexico to shop for elegant handcrafted items by local artists. We have some customers that come each year especially to purchase from the artisans that show here”, states Winterfest coordinator Mary Giardina.
 
In addition to the handcrafts, live music will be performed each day. On Saturday, November 24th, at 1 pm, the Poppy and Karuna Duet will perform followed by the Oak Farm Choir at 2pm. On Sunday, November 25th at 11 am, John Osborn and Band will play. Other musicians will be playing as well.
 
If you develop an appetite doing all that shopping, holiday treats and gourmet coffee will be available as well as delicious food by Nevadith and Horacio.
