Ruby L. Frost, 97 a former resident of Silver City passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her residence in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 in the morning on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Cedar Hills Tabernacle in Silver City, New Mexico with the Funeral Service following at 10:30 in the morning with Pastor Caleb Perez officiating. Concluding Services and Internment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery.    

She was born on October 15, 1915 in Strawberry, Arkansas to William and Sophronia (Doyle) Lancaster. She was a foster grandparent in Silver City for 10 years.

She is survived by her children; a daughter Wanda Crane and a son Ronnie Gale Frost. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.   She is preceded in death by her husband John Hale Frost, parents; William Dolph and Sophronia (Doyle) Lancaster, sister Roxie Actchley, brother William Dolph Lancaster Jr., and 2 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie and Jerry Gonzales, Henry and Moises Bernal,
Joshua Alkire, Carlos Hill, Daniel Martinez and Omar Perez. Honorary Pallbearers are Charles Edens, Glen Wilson, Nathanael Crane, Chad Warren, John Daniels, Gideon and Ian Barbry.
