Las Cruces, NM: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) with La Calerita Construction will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss project specifications, schedule of operations and other pertinent items related to the on-going project located at I-10 and Avenida de Mesilla.

The construction project continues with lane and speed restrictions along NM-28/ Avenida de Mesilla between Hickory Drive and Lakeside Drive (mile marker 29.5 to 29.1), and on I-10 between University Ave (exit 142) and Motel Blvd (exit 139). The contractor is moving forward with the reconstruction of the eastbound bridge on I-10 and Avenida de Mesilla (exit 140), which includes new ascending and descending ramps for this interchange. Motorists will encounter 12 foot width restrictions on I-10 for west and eastbound (EB) traffic between University Ave and Motel Blvd due to the construction of the eastbound bridge.
