Las Cruces- The District One office for the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) with Blue Collar Construction will be conducting a pavement preservation project by placing a chip seal, and fog seal on a portion of US 60 within the Magdalena area. The work will be from mile marker 117 to 92.5. The contractor will begin work, Tuesday June 3rd and is scheduled to be complete Monday June 9th by 5:00 p.m.

The contractor will be working in 5 mile increments with lane restrictions in place. Flagging operations and a pilot car will be stationed within the work zone to assist with the movement of traffic. The project working hours will be Monday to Friday from 7 am until 5 pm.
