ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), along with the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty and the New Mexico Primary Care Association, are hosting the "ACA and You", a health care information event, on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Deming, N.M.

At the event, attendees will have access to well-trained health care guides and health care professionals who will be able answer questions about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicaid, health insurance coverage options, and more. In addition, Presbyterian Medical Services will be conducting free health screenings on site and the Children's Reading Foundation of Luna County will be reading books to children who attend the event. Information and assistance will also be available in Spanish. The event is free and all are encouraged to attend.
