(Santa Fe, N.M.) The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) is pleased to announce that it is terminating the Administrative Order issued to the Wild and Wooley Trailer Ranch for violations of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Wild and Wooley Trailer Ranch is a Community Public Water System located in Santa Fe County serving a population of 93 residents.
The NMED Drinking Water Bureau issued Administrative Order No. 2014-ACO-04 to Wild and Wooley Trailer Ranch on April 8, 2014 due to the following violations:
- Failure to collect repeat total coliform samples.
- Failure to collect 5 routine total coliform samples.
- Failure to collect at least 1 ground water source sample.
- Exceeding the Maximum Contaminant Level for microbiological contaminants.
- Failure to complete the initial monitoring requirements for lead and copper in tap water.
- Failure to provide a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) to its consumers and to the State for the 2010 and 2012 calendar years.
- Failure to submit a CCR certification to the State for the 2012 calendar year.
- Failure to submit a corrective action plan within 30 days of receiving notice by the State.
- Failure to correct significant deficiencies identified during the December 6, 2012, Sanitary Survey within 120 days of receiving notice by the State.
NMED has determined that the Wild and Wooley Trailer Ranch water system has complied with the terms and conditions of the Order.
