Santa Fe - The New Mexico Economic Development Department's Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) board approved $325,955 in funding in May to create 38 jobs and $1,304,117.16 in June to create 195 jobs in New Mexico.

"JTIP continues to be a proven job creator," said Economic Development Secretary Jon Barela. "It's great to see these companies using JTIP to expand and improve their workforce which creates good jobs in New Mexico."

May's JTIP recipients:

Wildflower International, Ltd., Santa Fe - Wildflower International, Ltd. Was founded in 1991 in Glorieta, NM and has grown into New Mexico's largest woman-owned business. Wildflower provides total IT management solutions to the U.S. Federal Government worldwide. 35 jobs, $293,455

Spra-Green, Inc., Portales - Spra-Green was founded in 1960 to service the agriculture needs of Portales area farmers. The company wholesales to nurseries, hardware stores and to individual businesses throughout New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado. 1 job, $6,640

J. W. Industries, Albuquerque - J.W. Industries, Inc. was founded in 1976, in Albuquerque, NM. For forty years the company has built a successful reputation by focusing on prototype development and design engineering services. 2 jobs, $25,860

June's JTIP recipients:

Ideum, Inc., Corrales - Ideum provides design and software development services and sells its multitouch tables and touch walls to clients worldwide. Ideum has worked on custom software and hardware projects with some of the world's top museums as well as worked with Fortune 500 companies and iconic brands such as: Apple, Adobe, Coca-Cola, Boeing, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, and Union Pacific. 6 jobs, $129,181.44

NM Transloading, LLC, Albuquerque - New Mexico Transloading, LLC was incorporated in July 2014 in the industrial South Valley of Albuquerque. It is New Mexico's first multi modal, state of the art transloading facility with the capacity to move a variety of products such as palletized goods, steel, timber, agricultural products, propane and oil, bulk liquid, dry goods, construction materials and heavy equipment. 30 jobs, $251,821.92

PreCheck, Inc., Alamogordo - PreCheck provides background investigation services for a diverse range of clients. The company provides a broad range of businesses and healthcare organizations with the information they need to verify and preserve the integrity of their people and programs. PreCheck has become the largest credential verification organization serving the healthcare industry. 35 jobs, $236,450

CN Wire Corporation, Santa Teresa - CN Wire Corporation is the U.S. affiliate of Turkish company, ER-BAKIR Elektrolitik Bakir Mamulleri A.S. CN Wire's products include single wire, multiwire, bunched/stranded wire, tin-plated copper and braid wire. CN Wire opened its first North American manufacturing facility in Santa Teresa, NM in March 2014.34 jobs, $150,243.62

Aircraft Technical Support Roswell, Roswell - Aircraft Technical Support provides aircraft storage, maintenance, demolition, recycling, reactivations, purchasing and sales of airframes for many global air carriers. The Job Training Incentive Program reimburses qualified economic-based companies for a portion of training costs associated with job creation. The program provides for classroom or on-the-job training, reimbursing an expanding or relocating business for up to 75 percent of a trainee's wages for as long as six months. The amount of the award depends on the number and complexity of jobs, the wages paid, and the business location.
