Truth or Consequences, NM - September 29, 2015 - Sierra County and Truth or Consequences Tourism Boards are holding a photo and video contest to give all who live in or who have visited Truth or Consequences and Sierra County the opportunity to tell their story visually and have their work featured. Winning submissions will receive $100 and the chance to have their photography or video displayed as part of ongoing New Mexico True advertisements for Sierra County and Truth or Consequences Tourism.

"All who have been to Sierra County know that it is a unique and beautiful destination, with several hidden gems in terms of activities and attractions," said Joanie Griffin of Griffin & Associates, the advertising handling tourism marketing for the area. "We know that whether you love soaking in the hot springs, being outdoors, visiting Spaceport America, exploring Elephant Butte, or enjoying local dining and shopping, everyone has their own version of the €˜Sierra County story.' This contest gives us the chance to see those stories, and gives people the chance to share their story €”and to have their work recognized and showcased in advertising."
