Santa Fe, NM - New Mexico FundIt, a program for communities to identify funding opportunities in one centralized location to help with their job creation efforts and assist small business development, is currently calling for projects for review during its upcoming meeting December 8, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at WESST Enterprise Center located at 609 Broadway Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87102. FundIt, brings local, state and federal funding agencies together to analyze and compare proposals for capital projects.

"New Mexico FundIt is important for helping communities identify funding across local, state and federal agencies that will invest in projects to grow the local economy," said Economic Development Secretary Jon Barela. "This program helps them save time by meeting with funding agencies in one location which helps spend ensure funding is there to complete projects and that tax dollars are spent in the best possible way to help local communities, especially rural communities, create jobs and improve quality of life."

New Mexico FundIt is an informal group of funding agencies that meets regularly to review potential projects. This collaboration streamlines the process, improves the effectiveness of project review and support, and ensures community and economic development projects have access to the information they'll need to become fully funded.

Types of projects considered:
