SANTA FE ' The Investments and Pensions Oversight Committee will hold its next meeting on Monday, October 31, and Tuesday, November 1, in Room 322 of the State Capitol.

On October 31, Angela Antonelli, executive director of the Center for Retirement Initiatives, McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University, and Gerri Madrid-Davis, director, Financial Security and Consumer Affairs, State Advocacy and Strategic Integration, Government Affairs, AARP, will help the committee explore public initiatives for private sector retirement saving in New Mexico.

Topics to be covered in the November 1 meeting will include updates on compliance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statements 67 and 68, actuarial and unfunded liability reports and transparency in reporting to members.

A tentative agenda for the meeting may be found on the New Mexico Legislature's website: www.nmlegis.gov.
