Washington, DC (October 28, 2016) - Congressman Steve Pearce issued the following statement after the FBI announced it plans to reopen the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's e-mails:

"The more we learn about Secretary Clinton's handling of classified information, the clearer it becomes the law was violated. The government must hold everyone to the same standard of accountability, regardless of their title or position. In the words of FBI Director James Comey, Clinton egregiously mishandled classified materials. By reopening the investigation, we hope the FBI is making clear that no one is above the law," said Congressman Steve Pearce.
