SANTA FE, NM – Due to continuing inquiries, State Auditor Tim Keller provided an update on the special audit of issues at UNM Athletics, the Lobo Club and UNM Foundation. The ongoing special audit was initiated in May and covers numerous financial management concerns, including unpaid luxury boxes, compensation and travel. When the results are complete, the audit will be released to the public.

Auditor Keller provided the following comment:

"We are working to get to the bottom of what's going on with public funds in our state's flagship sports program. Our special audit is examining a number of allegations some of which have come to light like unpaid luxury boxes. Instead of piecing together one-off documents, we are going to get comprehensive answers and bring accountability."

The audit will be available at www.osanm.org.
