Socorro: The New Mexico Department of Transportation announces the upcoming annual Pilgrimage from the First Assembly of God Church in Polvadera, NM to the San Miguel Church in Socorro, taking place on Good Friday, March 30th from 4:00 am to 3:00 pm. Law enforcement agencies will be assisting as walkers travel roadways. Use caution and look for pedestrians on the roadway.

Roadways traveled will be I-25 frontage road south, NM 408, Interstate 25 from mile post 150 to 152 and US 60 into Socorro.

It is also suggested pedestrians dress for a variety of weather conditions, wear bright-reflective clothing or reflective gear during early morning and evening hours. Law enforcement and emergency responders will patrol all areas of the pilgrimage to enhance overall safety of the event.
