Cloudcroft, NM – July 17, 2018 – Cloudcroft, New Mexico—known for its incredible scenery, outdoor activities, and summer temperatures in the cool 70s—announces the perfect summer getaway, Art & Wine in the Cool Pines. The two-day festival celebrates New Mexico wine and art on August 3rd and 4th.

"As summertime temperatures across the region are soaring, we invite everyone to take a drive up to Cloudcroft and explore our mountain forest areas, while enjoying New Mexico wines, listening to live music, and enjoying great food," said Tabitha Davis, President of the Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce. "For those looking to add a great summer adventure to their schedule, Art & Wine in the Cool Pines is the perfect trip, and you'll be sure to make many lasting memories and enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway."

In addition to sampling wines from across the state of New Mexico, wine will be available for purchase, and the festival will include live music, food vendors, and custom event wine glasses. Set in the scenic and refreshing mountain forests of Cloudcroft, the event allows for attendees to get back to nature and take in the historical outdoor surroundings.

Tickets are $10.00 for nondrinkers and those under the age of 21 and $15.00 for general admission, which includes a commemorative glass.

"For all attending Art & Wine in the Pines, we encourage you to make a weekend out of it, and explore all that Cloudcroft has to offer," added Davis. "Outdoor lovers, nature lovers, history buffs, and those who want to unwind will find a wide variety of activities to suit their vacation needs."

While in town, visitors can discover the rich history of the area, including the history of the Mescalero Apaches at the Sacramento Mountains Museum & Pioneer Village. Cloudcroft also offers a chance to learn about settlers to the area, building the "impossible" railroad, and the founding of Cloudcroft, as well as exploring the Pioneer Village and experiencing life as a settler in a log cabin. With plenty of open forest spaces, Cloudcroft is ideal for hiking, camping, mountain biking, and more.
