Event: Another Veterans Benefits Claims Event

Date: Tuesday, October 16, 2018 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: Navajo Nation Veterans Administration Office - Shiprock, Hwy 491 Building 5080, Tachinii Blvd., Shiprock, NM  87420

On October 16, 2018, the VA and the Navajo Nation Veterans Administration Northern (Shiprock) Agency will offer a VA Benefits Claims Event at the Navajo Nation Veterans Administration office at Hwy 491, Building 5080 Tachinii Boulevard in Shiprock, NM.

If you are a Veteran and interested in attending this Benefits Claims Event, please bring the following documents, if available. This may help to expedite and complete your claim quicker and more efficiently.

Medical records/medical evidence (doctor or hospital reports); Any documents that provide historical or military information needed for the disability you are claiming; Discharge or separation papers (DD 214 or equivalent); Dependents records (marriage certificate, death certificate, child birth certificates); Spouses/widows may be eligible for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) when a Veteran dies because of these presumptive disabilities)
