(SANTA FE, NM) --A travelling “MouthMobile” will make a stop at the Santa Fe Plaza on October 22 from 9am-3pm to offer free dental care for veterans.

Courtesy of Aspen Dental’s nationwide “Healthy Mouth Movement,” the 42-foot long dentist-office-on-wheels has traveled to 30 states since the program started in 2016.

The MouthMobile is handicap-accessible and includes two operatory stations and a digital X-ray station. Utilizing local dentists and dental technicians volunteering their services, it provides everything from basic check-ups to teeth-cleaning…to cavity work and even fitting for dentures and bridge-work.

Appointments are required and arranged through local non-profit partners. For the Santa Fe visit—the MouthMobile’s only stop in New Mexico—veterans should make an appointment by contacting Greg Scargall at the Santa Fe Community College Veterans  Resource Center at (505) 428-1305. No walk-ins will be seen.
