ALBUQUERQUE – Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Ryan Cangiolosi made the following statement after the passing of Rep. Larry Larrañaga:

“Larry Larrañaga was truly one of a kind – a selfless public servant and venerated leader who ran for public office because he wanted to make New Mexico a better place. Larry never sought credit or attention, but his work as a lawmaker, a cabinet secretary, and a small business owner undoubtedly gave New Mexico a brighter future. It was a pleasure and an honor to know Larry on a personal and professional level. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with him over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Charletta and all of his loved ones as they mourn his passing.”
