In an increasingly wired world, it’s more important than ever that young people are trained in skills that will enable them to succeed in a digital economy.

To contribute to the future success of New Mexico students, we hosted 60 teens from Rio Grande High School in Albuquerque as part of the 2019 “Groundhog Job Shadow Week” earlier this month, organized by Junior Achievement of New Mexico and Mission: Graduate, a program of United Way of Central New Mexico.

Students took a deep dive into the daily routines of leaders from across the Comcast organization. From human resources and external affairs, to marketing and customer care, students learned about the variety of career paths and opportunities available at Comcast, as well as the skills that will translate to jobs in a digitally-savvy workforce.

Visit our blog to read more about how today’s students are being trained in tomorrow’s digital skills, thanks to the investment of our leaders and community partners.
