Las Cruces: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) along with White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) has posted an alert for Thursday April 18, 2019 for US 70. 

Highway 70 is scheduled to be blocked at 6:10 am for approximately 1 hour and should be lifted by 7:10 am.  This block will be located at Red Block, mile marker 164 (top of ST. Augustin Pass) and Yellow Block mile marker 200 (White Sands National Monument). Las Cruces Gate and Owen Road will also be affected for this block.
